After ordering a bed from dreams on October 30th 2010, we were told that the bed would come within 3 weeks. After 2 weeks we were informed that the bed would take a extra 3 weeks to arrive. We then had the option to change the bed for a different model which would come on the arranged delivery date. Deciding not to change Dreams offered us a £40 compensation offer which we accepted. We then had a phone call from Dreams on roughly the 20th of December saying that the bed would arrive on Friday 30th December. On Wednesday the 28th December, Dreams phoned to say that the bed would have to be changed yet again to Saturday 31st December, which I was not pleased about having to take the Friday off work to make sure I would be home for the delivery. They offered a £100 compensation to cover my wages for the day at work. On Saturday 31st December having waited till 2.00pm I phone up dreams to find out where my bed was, and they said that it was not on their system that they were delivering my bed. I was outraged so I phone up my local dreams from where I purchased the bed and they said there was no option to cancel my bed, but after a long and heated conversation the manager of the store said he would call us back to sort out the issue. He phoned back saying that they next delivery date would be the 7th Jan 2011. I was outraged once again, so ordered him to cancel the bed after a few more phone calls to the local dreams showroom and the 0844 number (which is very expensive!!!) they agreed to cancel the bed and offered me a full refund.
Never again should I use Dreams.
(This I found funny, my new car which was a factory order took 3 weeks to come. My bed took nearly 10 weeks to arrive, and they still managed to mess that up )
