Two orders; one outstanding, the other poor

I bought a Makita garden blower directly at a great price with next day delivery. For the Christmas holiday period this was exceptional. However, a few days later I ordered the vacuum collection bag for the machine via eBay. There is no payment link to pay via credit card, the telephone number on the website does not get answered and 2 emails sent, 1 via eBay the other sent directly have yet to be answered. Why is a direct purchase so good but a purchase via ebay so poor?
