Staff were very helpful when I called for advice as I wasn't sure which DAC to order for playing music from my computer. I wasn't sure I could upgrade much from using a normal connecting cable between sound card and amp but was convinced to try the Musical Fidelity VDAC mk2 and what a difference! High res music files now sound much better and it also seems to improve the sound of lower res files. I've also tried it with my CD player as I like to keep the CD collection going and the improvements are just as impressive. More detail, less edgy and much smoother. One of the best online purchases I've made for my hifi!
