Good prices but unreliable delivery

I ordered a ceiling light on Wednesday morning, and their website stated 'next day delivery when ordered before noon' which I did. However, the item only arrived on Monday which is five days late. No emails or status updates via their website which is rather poor. I spend a whole day waiting for the item on Friday which isn't ideal. Their site should clearly reflect lead and delivery times, and the whole point of an online order status is to show just that in real time which it doesn't.

Like I said, the prices are good but don't use this company if you rely on timed delivery or even exact delivery dates. What a shame!

TV purchase delight

I bought a Samsung LED TV from the London Bridge branch and took it home only to find it was faulty. Phoned the branch straight away and staff was very helpful. Got my replacement delivered by a member of staff on Saturday evening (2 days after purchase) which was great. Staff member was incredibly helpful and now everything's well with the replacement.
Their online prices are very competitive - just mention instore that you saw the product and price on their website and they will match it - excellent! Only one slight criticism: although they claim to 'price match' their competitors they only do this with the 'optional 5 year warranty' included which I find a little odd: how can they compare something I don't want? Surely they should be comparing basic tv with basic tv, right?
But apart from this little glitch I can only recommend their service!

Littlewoods

Don't expect them to remember your custom

I bought a Swan microwave from them more than a year ago and was very happy with it until it went up in sparks and smoke a couple of weeks ago. Because it came with two years manufacturer's guarantee I contacted Littlewoods (who are the manufacturer since they own the Swan brand) and asked for a repair/replacement.
However, their call centre staff doesn't seem to have a clue: they denied that I bought the microwave from them, they then denied that they have to honour the guarantee and then passed me round the office and various other premium rate phone numbers.
After speaking to 6 different people the finally agreed to have the faulty microwave collected and refund the money. Well, the collection happened last night but since they don't seem to have a record of my purchase I don't expect to see the refund any time soon.
After this experience I will certainly not shop with them again and will also warn friends and colleagues - avoid!!!

Great price, good website, excellent service re timed delivery

Bought a shredder for a very good price, then requested delivery day. Item arrived on that day which I'm very happy about. Contact with the shop was excellent and very helpful. Can only recommend this web shop for understanding customer's needs - will most certainly shop with them again. Thank you!
