Appalling customer service and delivery

I'm glad so many people have had good experiences with made.com, as it seems like a good business idea. However, my experience has been awful. Made.com use Yodel (formerly the Home Delivery Network) to deliver, and they're quite spectacularly bad. After THREE separate phone calls where I said I could not receive a delivery on the 22nd December, I then proceeded to get a phone call from a van driver outside my house... on the 22nd of December. No further attempts were made to deliver the chair to me, it was sent back to made.com, who now tell me a replacement will be due in 8 weeks. It's quite clear that despite the talk of furniture being made to order, they flogged my chair off to the next waiting punter. Combine this with the very slow response to emails, and the inability to talk to anyone at made.com, and I can't recommend them to anyone.
