I recently purchased two 3 metre lengths of the Prime Oak, full stave worktop and some oak upstands. One of the worktops arrived with damage to the surface that was not readily detectable until we had a close look... It had been repaired badly with oak filler - in the factory.
Worktop Express were very happy to replace it FOC and it arrived within 2 working days.
The replacement was not perfect, but we used it anyway as the hob cutout was where the oak filler repaired area was which was lucky.
Worktop Express said they inspect everything before it's packaged and sent out, but I feel that when you're paying £1,000 for the best quality oak that they sell, it should be perfect within reason. Hopefully they will improve their quality control system...?
Otherwise their service was very good and I would use them again.
