My wife ordered a coat from H&M which was supposed to be delivered by Hermes. After about a week, the item had still not arrived so my wife rang H&M to be told that according to the tracking information, her item was on the delivery lorry for that day. After 3 more days, my wife checked her H&M online account and saw that the item had been opened and returned with the returns slip filled in stating - "Item not what I expected" !. She has telephoned H&M who are now investigating Hermes as it looks as though the courier decided it was easier to open the parcel, fill in the slip and return it rather than make the delivery. We have asked for copies of the returns slip so we can see if the Police would be interested in investigating as surely this constitutes fraud?
