Martin has put a lot of work into this site and it is now the premier money site on the net. I love his money saving suggestions and have used the site numerous times to find various things.
Can I dare to say that the site may be becoming too informative and it seems to be getting harder to break down the trees to get to the information required. Too much information can sometimes be a bad thing.
This is without reservation the best store I have dealt with in person and on the internet.
Prices are competitive and service second to none. They also give extended warranties on many goods at no extra charge. Their delivery drivers are courteous and helpful. I wish other stores and suppliers would take a leave out of the John Lewis Book and try to get to their level of customer service.
When you enter PC World it feels like you are being captured by some alien enemy. I like to shop on my own and will ask for assistance if it is required. I do not like to be accosted by sales assistants who's knowledge of computers is very limited and far less than my own. So I am afraid PC World is not the place I go any longer for computer equipment. I would only use them if I wanted a part or component urgently when other computer suppliers are closed.
Tesco has now had it's day. I am pleased to hear the British public has recognised that Tesco's are now poor value and the share price has dropped over the Christmas period.
I and my family shopped at Tesco for 30 years and have now had enough. We are now shopping at Morrisons.
Tesco quality has steadily gone down hill the past three years. Their offers are meaningless because they never have OFFER goods in stock. The offers Tesco's do have are for bulk buys of fresh foods which cannot be consumed before the expiry dates. The offer prices are also very misleading because the actual prices are often 'hiked' before they are reduced. If there is a genuine offer you can be sure the goods are not in stock when you get to the store. Their vegetables are of poor quality and their shelves are never stocked up. The staff are generally unhelpful and consider a customer enquiry as an inconvenient infringement into their lazy day at work. The Tesco Clubcard is also poor value now and they have the cheek to present and advertise their card as good value when they have actually cut the points earned. This all gives a smutter of arrogance by Tesco that I find very annoying. So I have taken my £850-00 somewhere else to spend each month.

I purchased two sets of Carlyle Brass door handles. My old door handles fron B & Q never lasted long and were tarnished within three months. As a trial I bought a pair of Carlyle Brass handles from Ironmongerydirect six months ago for an outside door and they still look as good as new. So I am going to replace all mine, inside and outside doors, with Carlyle Brass Handles within the next few months. Very pleased with the quality.
