I have had a career dealing with couriers and shippers for fourteen years now, as well as in my life outside of work, and am well aware of the errors, mistakes and other general failings that can occur in getting one thing sent from one location to another.
In my professional life I have been using Interparcel for a good period of time and have been very pleased with the efficiency of the service so far. I need something picked up and delivered, and it gets done. Reliable is very much the word.
Where things have gone wrong they have been in a very small minority, especially when compared with other services that I have used in the past, and have usually been down to the individual driver making an error.
And this is where Interparcel truly shine. The customer service is uniformly excellent. Wherever a change to an order needs to be made or whenever a fault or mistake needs to chased up, the customer service team have done nothing but impressed. Emails are answered quickly, and phone queues are short and answered knowledgeably and confidently.
A recent potential headache was in fact almost turned around by the impeccable actions and service of a Becky Blythe who was nothing short of exemplary. Interparcel, if you are reading this, please pass this on:
Becky works in a service industry where all too often anyone and everyone who can complain will do, but where praise is due very few will make the effort to say anything. 5 star service.
Easy to navigate site, huge selection, good stock, nice prices, fast delivery. A perfect online retail user experience. have used them countless times and will no doubt use them countless more.
The only two times I've had a problem with them were with a broken item, which was promptly replaced, and a marketplace seller that didn't deliver something I'd paid for, which was very quickly refunded when complained about to Amazon themselves.
Games, DVDs, CDs, TVs, books, prints, anything, always consider looking at Amazon. good selection and they offer one of the very best shopping experiences out there.
Had a stack of old phones of varying condition and expense, so decided to bin them and make a little cash at the same time. Tested a few sites to see which would give me the best deal and Mazuma came up tops by quite a bit. And really, what a great operation they have and run. Five minutes entering online forms. Paper forms arrive. Send phones out. Within less than two weeks I have a few more hundred pounds, whereas even just a few years ago the phones would simply probably have ended up on the scrap heap. Also, brilliant customer service team who keep you nicely updated on everything.
Ordered two pieces (a HiFi cabinet and a coffee table) and was informed of a potential delay, but the service from the customer support team, and Sophie in particular, was brilliant. Pleasant to talk to, informative and honest too. No attempt to pull the wool over my eyes, but very to the point and politely so.
Delivery team was good too, informing me of the day and time to expect the arrival of furniture, then calling on the day to give advance notice, and the delivery itself was brilliant.
Seems harsh to knock off one star for such a good experience, but five star really should be for exceptional, and the delay, though short, means they only get 4/5. Their customer service team however is one of the best I've ever had to deal with. Kudos to them.
The bed itself, when it got here, sorry when it was dumped here on my doorstep, was actually very good. Having to deal with the company though, from start until unannounced arrival has been like pulling teeth. Absolutely non-existant service, all the staff seem to be affronted at your intention to shop with them.
