Whenever I use this company the service is outstanding, packages are never delayed, they always arrive promptly and in superb condition, the tracking service is excellent and the driver is always polite and friendly.
Overall a very pleasing experience, from a company whom i would recommend and use again and again..
I wanted to surprise someone with some flowers to cheer her day up and sent via eflorist as it seemed good value and had the added appeal of ordering before 3pm for same day delivery.
I found the website easy to use and my order went through an hour and a half BEFORE the 3pm deadline for same day delivery, although I was charged £7.95 for the flowers to be delivered that day.
Later on after placing the order, I found out from the recipient that she had moved work buildings and when I explained my surprise to her, she said not to worry as she was a senior member of staff and should the flowers arrive someone would sign for them and contact her.... this did not happen as the flowers didnt arrive at the destination on the day ordered.
In the meantime I tried to contact eflorist via their website on the customer service link to tell them of the situation, as the telephone customer service by this time had closed, in my email I stated my acknowlegement that they had been ordered for the wrong building, but they had not arrived anyway and that if their had been a problem I had expected someone to contact me via my contact details given, however no one had done so, so I suggested that if they could be redirected I would be willing to pay extra for delivery to the new address.
I received an automated response which said someone would get back to me within 48 hours.
48 hours had passed and still no flowers delivered to either address given and no contact from eflorist, so I rang their customer services, whom were very polite and helpful and they stated that the flowers on their system had been delivered late morning the day AFTER I ordered them, and that they would contact the florist to find out who signed for them and would call me back.
They called me very promptly to say that the florists had stated that the delivery driver had finished for the day and they would find out whom had signed for them, when the driver was back in the following morning and eflorist customer services could let me know.
Today 3 days after ordering the flowers, eflorist customer services rang me again, and again were very polite, however they stated that the florists had said the flowers were delivered to the loading bay, at the back of the building at the original address given and was that helpful??
I then explained to the customer service rep that the building in question is in the heart of London's financial district, it has 24 hour security and reception and that had the flowers been delivered as would be expected through the front door, then someone, on behalf of the original recipient who was informed of the situation and expecting them to arrive, could have taken them and contacted the original recipient, however, they were now saying they had dropped them at a back door of the building in loading bay and still no name of who signed for them, not to mention the fact that they took £7.95 for same day delivery and were a day late, and as yet, there are still no sign of the flowers and no one knows who signed for them?
The customer service rep from eflorist said she would again speak to the florists and see if they could get a name of who signed for them or whether they can send another bouquet to the recipient... when I will hear the outcome of this is anyone's guess?? but even if we do get a name, by the time I get it, if they still have the flowers, they will be withered no doubt.
My main complaint isnt with eflorist customer serbice as the representative I have spoken to, has done her best, and as there was the original mistake from myself with the address, I have to sholuder some of the blame, however, no response to my email even now 3 days later, and we covered all aspects of the flowers arriving at the original destination by making sure that there was someone available to collect the flowers when they arrived and then contact the recipient, but the fact of the matter is, these flowers, have vanished, and it now seems as though it will be nearly a week before I find out, who signed for them?, if they were ever delivered? or if there will be replacements sent or not?.
So to be totally honest as i feel right now, a bad experience all in all and the 2nd star is only given because of Tammy in customer services being so good at her job.
Though the surprise factor has turned to a nightmare and as it stands I have paid out £37- £38 for nothing, I wouldnt say that would be very good at all in anyone's book.
