When I was booking I was offered a date of installation of the 22nd of December. That was one of the main reasons I went with them, as BT and Talk Talk couldn't install until January. Then once I've signed up for a contract they told me my installation date wouldn't be until the 4th of January! I was so annoyed, they lied to me completely, I wasn't impressed at all. Not a good way to start a customer relationship.
I've been with T Mobile for about a year now, and they have been absolutely rubbish in every instance of customer service I've needed from them. Once I couldn't pay my bill, I rang them to tell them, and to tell them when I'd be able to, and they essentially talked for ages and told me they couldn't do anything, I'd continue to get calls about it and they would stop my services on a certain date regardless. So basically there's no point in their 'Customer Services Department' at all because the computer decides who to ring and who to cut off and there's no point in communicating with them at all. My phone has been stolen twice. The first time I was annoyed because they made me pay 10 pounds for a replacement Sim for my contract. They are GIVING AWAY pay as you go Sim cards so they can't be expensive to give - it's just that T Mobile want to wring every last drop of money out of you they can. The second time the same thing happened except this time someone has used my mobile to make calls of 55 pounds over my usual bill. Not only did T Mobile not query this, they now say that because it happened before I contacted them it's my problem, I have to pay it and also the 10 pounds for a new Sim card. I had to email them TWICE over three days before I got a response to my email telling them my phone was stolen,I then replied to this and asked for a break down of the charges, and it's been a week and they haven't answered. Absolutely rubbish. I cannot believe how terrible their service is, I really can't. I will never be going with T Mobile again, no matter what they offer me when my contract ends.
Whenever I go in to the Iceland in Herne Bay, Kent there is always a big long queue, nobody around to ask any questions from and the people who do work in there act like zombies. I know it's not the most stimulating job in the world but I know in customer service roles you're supposed to pretend to be happy...
I thought the website was very straight forward except for two things - it doesn't specify anywhere that if your car fails an MOT there is a free retest. I then rang the freephone number to check before I booked and was put through to the Margate branch, which don't do MOTs and had no answer to give me. They gave me the wrong number for the Folkestone branch I was trying to use, so I had to ring them back, and get the real number again. Unnecessary hassle. However the man I spoke to at the Folkestone branch was very nice, pleasant and efficient.
