Maplin used to be a favourite of mine for ordering components and tools. Standards appear to have gone into freefall lately however. I'm not talking about just an average case of damaged goods here, but things arriving in appauling condition - components bent and twisted, improperly packaged with no regard for protective guidelines. In the latest order, I guess someone forgot to tell them that the parcel tape is supposed to hold the box shut, not just be slapped on anywhere. This was after I received an apology and reassurance. Fool me once.....
