Booked a £600 flight and all seemed well. I recieved email confirmation of payment and noticed the amount debited from my account.
The following day a duplicate payment of £600 was processed and my account was in overdraft.
After speaking with their very UNhelpful customer service department, I was told they would not talk to the bank, and would not sort it out. Contacted Lloyds and they said it is only Budget Air who can reverse the charges and would simply have to wait for 3-5 business days until the system realised it was a duplicate payment!!! (This was a Friday, so I wouldn't have any money until Wednesday at the earliest).
Basically as a result of BudgetAir.co.uk’s actions I now have no access to my current account for a week, no money, and a bundle of overdraft fees. I now have to borrow money to survive.
