Went to the Northwood branch after reading good reviews, wanted speakers for my car despite the fact the original headunit was in the car. What I wanted was a couple of pairs of speakers for front and rear just to freshen up the sound - for now. Was basically told the speakers were Ok (despite the fact there was way too much treble which couldn't be dialled out) but I needed to change the headunit for better sound. I know this would help *but* I'm not going to go this far - just help me choose some speakers. No, what I needed was a new head unit OR maybe an underseat sub. NO - I just want speakers, I am the customer - I know the limitations of the original stereo thanks, just the speakers please.. When I did get some speaker recommendations they were no better than what was already installed. I know they were trying to help but please - dont force your advice down my throat. Bottom line is they couldn't help me but they might be able to help you.
I have purchased equipment for work and personally from Scan and have always found the service excellent and delivery swift. What I find especially useful is the regular updates on order status including a text/email informing of the one hour window delivery can be expected. Although I have had reason to return faulty products back to scan in the past (only once!) I can confirm the process is simple & straightforward - but I hope readers never have to avail themselves of this service!! I can definitely recommend them.
