I have used the web site to reserve products a few times and never had any trouble in doing that.
I have returned a few items as they were damaged or not fit for purpose and never had any problems in doing so. Even if the staff seem a bit distant when they are serving you (might be to do with the argos gene).
No real complaints to report but beware some items are marked up quick a bit.
My order was delivered in reasonable time with good packing, but each item was sent individually rather than in one box/packet, surely this will cost them more (hence marked up prices?).
I order a few cd's at the beginning of December as Christmas presents, they hadn't arrived after a couple of weeks so I emailed there customer support.
I heard nothing back but a few days later I had my cd's on my doorstep with the word priority written all over them, make of that as you will.
Don't think i would be using this site again even if they are a few pounds cheaper.
Having had trouble ordering the same product with Dell I gave UK digital cameras a try.
They did not disappoint it arrived the next day well packed and I am very pleased with the service I have received, plus it was the very cheapest price on the net.
No complaints here.
Ordered a sat nav from dell as it was a good price, received a phone call the next day on my mobile asking to confirm a few details namely address.
I though this was fine as the delivery address was different to invoice address at the end of the phone call all was fine and my order was being processed so the man told me.
A week later I have received an e-mail stating that my order has been cancelled as they could not get in touch with me with any of the phone numbers I had given then. I was confused.
I have checked all answer phone machines both landlines and mobile and no messages had been left!
What a waste of time.
