The website is good and easy to use, the prices are very competitive, packaging good and delivery was very fast (within 24 hours of receiving an email saying that the camera had been despatched). An excellent service!
However there was a problem in that after I had made the order I received an email from Park Cameras to say that the delivery address did not agree exactly with the address held by my credit card company. (The credit card address includes the house name as well as the number and I left off this name off the order.) This meant that I was asked to make copies of various documents- driving licence, credit card bill etc- and send them to Park Cameras, for them to check before releasing the camera.
Now I am all for checking and making sure that everything is correct, but usually for orders online, my card is checked by the "Verified by Visa" scheme which asks me to put in a password and that confirms everything is OK. This was not the case with Park Cameras and perhaps they should consider joining this scheme to avoid their customers having to jump through hoops in the future.
I ordered a food blender and paid for it to be delivered. (I had a £5 voucher that could only be used online so it was cheaper to have it delivered than to collect it from the store). Ordering was fine - delivery due on Thursday. Waited around all day Thursday; kept checking internet where it said that my goods were out for delivery and would arrive between 7am and 6pm - but they never came. Rang the customer services first thing on Friday. "Oh no" she said "the blender didn't arrive in the depot until last night so it couldn't have been delivered yesterday - it will come some time today". Why couldn't they have told me that before? No - Argos do not care that someone sits in waiting all day for no reason.
The parcel did arrive on the Friday. I couldn't afford to spend another day waiting so they threw it into an outhouse.
I have had the peace of mind of Questor excess insurance for several years now. The on-line renewal procedure is simple and the product, when compared to that offered by the car hire companies, is superior and much, much cheaper. It is so nice when you are at the rental car check-in desk and they are pestering you to buy their insurances, to be able to say "That is all taken care of, thank you very much"!
I just hope I never have to use it!

All in all it was a very pleasant experience and going throughCarDelMar was the cheapest of anybody on the internet!
They also give the security of free cancellation which many don't.
This was the first time I had used independent4life which I found by accident on an internet trawl for a sealant suitable for use on natural stone. I was surprised that they were offering a high quality product at a very reasonable price that included the postage and packing costs. The product arrived within 2 days by recorded delivery and was well packed. The product performed perfectly and I am very happy.
The only problem I had was that at the end of the payment process it came back to the same screen rather than going to a "Transaction complete" screen and so I was uncertain as to whether the process had completed. I didn't want to press the button again in case I ordered twice and so Ihad to wait until the confirmation email to ensure that everything had gone through.
