I like this bank because of its ethical investment policies, however from a user experience point of view it's disappointing that their online banking service doesn't look like it has been updated for 10 years. Compared to Natwest it is really quite bad! It's hard to arrange transfers between accounts, and to see what has gone in and out of your account. I hope they take note as it is a shame to lose customers this account.
Despite having a bad experience in the past with online John Lewis service, the staff in store are very knowledgeable and helpful. The guarantee on electrical products is fantastic. Just had a washing machine fixed free of charge over a year after I bought it - no quibbles whatsoever!
I bought a £1,400 sofabed from Habitat less than a year ago and already it has sagged and is unfit to use on a daily basis as a sofa, despite light use. I complained twice to Home Retail group and on neither occasion did they even bother to respond. They clearly couldn't care less about Habitat's old customers, which begs the question of why they bothered buying the brand. Avoid!
