Can't complain on anything. Absolutely brilliant. Been Prime subscriber (for free next day deliveries) for 3 years and the service has always been super-efficient. Only had to contact the customer service once when an item was missing, could chat to the representative online through live chat (no need to call expensive numbers) and was sent the replacement next day. I use the website pretty much on a weekly basis for everything starting from toothpaste to gardening products and AV equipment.
Decided to give Waitrose a try with their bottle of champagne offer, will not order again. 3 substitutions in one order - never happened with Ocado in my 2 year shopping history! One item was missing (they supposedly wanted to substitute 2 red peppers with 2 packs of mixed ones (60-70p each vs £3 for two packs, what a rubbish sub), but I only got one with my delivery. You can only change your order until 11am the day before vs at least 9pm for Ocado (but usually 1am on the day of delivery). The website is completely unusable - the search does not work properly, i..e was searching for Arrabbiata pasta sauce and manged to find it only when searched 'pasta sauce' and not 'Arrabbiata'. Absolutely rubbish - will stick to Ocado, which pretty much offers all the Waitrose range and so much more on top.
I have been using Ocado for over two years now and they are absolutely the best online supermarket. I have tried ASDA, Waitrose and Tesco and those are no where near in terms of the website usability, customer service and product range. 99% of my deliveries have been on time withing the assigned 1 hour slot and I hardly ever have any substitutions. Moreover, if there are substitutions, these are very carefully matched, unlike for example recently getting 2 packs of mixed (red-green-yellow) peppers instead of the ordered 2 red ones on Waitrose (costing £3.5 instead of the estimated £1-1.5). I am also delighted by the ever-expanding product range which beat any offering on the street: now I can select between own label, Waitrose range as well as smaller supplier and speciality foods, I was particularly happy to see Swedish range added and I hope a fully-blown Japanese one will be coming sometime soon (for now I have to shop at Japan Centre to get some sauces and rice). Ocado is the future of grocery shopping, way ahead of the competition with the gap only increasing.
Fast and easy transfers, very sensible rates and fees. Would highly recommend for casual international payments and transfers. Saved £40 on a single transaction.
