I can only say that I am delighted with the furniture and service I received from Forest Contract. I ordered 20 tables and 60 chairs for my newly refurbished restaurant and they came as ordered and on time. It's often easy to forget when people do a good job, so i'd thought i'd take the time to recognise this company and say thank you.
Some great deals, and real bargains, some really dodgy places and offers also posted. Waited 6 weeks to hear back after several e-mails and calls to a Manchester based carting treat that I booked for the family. Another occasion managed to get a great deal on a lovely hotel / weekend away.
Research needed on the businesses advertised I would suggest before buying, but it would be helpful if Groupon were slight more selected in the businesses they selected and dealt with !
Gumtree is promoted as a free service to enable you to sell your unwanted goods. To an extent it is true, you can sell some items for free, but others to get any real exposure you need to upgrade to some of their paid enhanced listings. It is a little sneaky when you think E-bay is upfront about fees before you list and they have a much larger following. I would say give Gumtree a go within the free listings, and if no cigar consider other options before paying. Gumtree still might be the right place for your unwanted items.
I find the HSBC website the easiest of the banks to use for onilne banking. Having moved from Natwest and from using Barclays for my business banking I can say I find HSBC without doubt the easiest of the major banks and the one offering most online support if you need it.
