Takes your money and leaves you chasing them

I ordered an item near the end of December which stated the delivery time was two weeks. Three weeks later, I called them - on their only means of contact, an expensive 0844 number - to chase it up, only for the customer service advisor to try to convince me that only two weeks had passed. After I'd finally counted the days down on a calendar for this no-brained advisor, she said that it takes two weeks for the item to be delivered to "them" to then be distributed by their delivery company. She said I would be contacted within a week to arrange a date for delivery. A week passed and still no call, so I phoned to chase again and was told that I would be contacted shortly. I was then contacted, only to be told that the only date available for delivery was three weeks away (a total of seven weeks after placing the order). I decided to accept it since I couldn't be bothered to chase for a refund instead. So I waited patiently for the delivery date. And the item has still not been delivered! No call or anything. And the tracking number provided does not work. I will now have to continue to chase my order. I had intended to order plenty of items from them, as I just recently moved house, however I will NEVER shop with Debenhams again, and neither will my family and friends. I do plenty of online shopping and they are definitely the worst. They take your money, leave you to pay them more money by chasing them on their 0844 number, while your money sits in their bank account generating interest and you still have no product. It's fraud. Simple as.
