I bought an item with Directshop.co and a day later was emailed asking me to pay extra for shipping as their system had not applied the correct amount at time of payment (it said free shipping online).
Due to false claim of free shipping I did not want to pay additional amount for shipping so Directshop.co cancelled my order and advised me my refund would be applied in 5-10 days (with a maximum period of 30 days).
That was in December, yet now in February (8 weeks and many emails ignored emails later) they still keep saying they don't know why my refund has not gone through and that they will pass this info on to the accounts department.
I have emailed them - they don't respond!
I have attempted to webchat them - they say my email is marked as spam! (I resorted to using a friends email address to get a response)
I have messaged them from my Directshop account - no reply!
Their phone number apparently no longer works and they refuse to call people back if you ask them to via webchat.
Plain and simple - they WILL NOT ENGAGE!
My advice - steer clear if you're smart. Their 'deals' don't show hidden costs, time and energy wasted!
