I flew to the Maldives just after Christmas. The outbound flight was pretty good as the flight was good and the male cabin crew were attentive and polite.
I am giving a 1 star because of the following
This is not the case with the return flight, the female cabin crew was rude, impatient and unhelpful (I asked for hot water for a herbal tea bag, she told me to drink the bottled water). She disappeared for most of the flight and we were not served drinking water, I had to keep going to the rear of the plane (we were travelling economy plus) to get water for our party of 8 (there were 3 children). A note also came up on the screen saying there were snacks at the rear of the plane, but when I arrived there was a queue as they had not arrived.
Lunch was served within about an hour of taking off and dinner within an hour of landing, with an 8 hour gap between, bad timing BA.
I could not complain at the time (I would have written to the CEO) as I had not paid for the holiday and it would have been insulting and embarrassing to my sister.
