Have on a few occasions had to put a claim in for non receipt of items. So glad I paid thorugh Paypal otherwise I believe I would not have had my monies refunded. The only thing is that you have to be patient as rightly so Paypal gives the seller the opportunity to respond which is a little bit frustrating when you have already tried communicating with them yourself. Cause I have had my fingers burnt twice recently I will always look for sites that use Paypal as it does give you a ray of hope of getting a refund!
Ordered 2 xbox wireless remotes. Had to send an email to see if the item has been dispatched or not. Then received automated e-mail advising me that it had been dispatched. I still haven't received the items and have filed a dispute through Paypal. I am a regular on line shopper with ebay/amazon and other big companies and have never had a problem with receiving parcels!
