Just Eat

Good company but blame it on the takeaway

I ordered a takeaway totalling £8.60 from 4 Seasons in Sedgley. The food was due to arrive at 20:20, however it did not arrive at this time. I went on Live Chat to ask someone what time it would be arriving and the lady said 20:20. I stated that it was now 20:25 so how was it going to arrive at 20:20!? She said she would ring the takeaway which she did for me and I was told it would arrive within 15 minutes. It wasn't until 20:55 (35 minutes after the stated delivery time) that I actually received my takeaway.

Because it was so late, I was putting my son to bed and my younger sister opened the door. The man was very rude, he handed her the bag and said 'I'm charging you a pound extra' and then walked off. No explanation was given. In this case because of the long wait, I felt it would be more appropriate for myself to have received some kind of discount instead of them charging extra!

Again, I spoke to a member of staff on Live Chat who stated that he would contact the company for me. He said that JustEat cannot take responsibility for each company but that the company woud return the £1 to me within 30 minutes.

My problem is that this company will continue to be used on the website and I think JustEat should take responsibility for any companies they use that are of poor service.

Excellent customer service though, thanks to Fabiola and Ahmed for helping me out.

Ruined Valentines

Yodel 'supposedly' left a parcel of flowers and chocolates yesterday in my front porch. Suprisingly, I do not have a front porch! No slip was posted through the door and looked all around my drive, even in the bin to see if I could find my parcel. After 5 calls to Eastleigh service depot, it seems the Yodel driver left my parcel in between 'the hedge and the bin' at the front of my drive at 14.34, I arrived home at 14.40 and there was no parcel on my drive. Yodel now say the company who sent the parcel have to raise a claim with Yodel for it to be delivered again. What a way to ruin a day. Disgusting service, stay clear and pay more for better service. Even <external link removed> are better than these theives.
