I ordered a washing machine from this company. After ordering I was given a delivery date the following week. The morning that my delivery was due I had a phone call to say that it wouldn't be delivered due to a 'corrupt file' being sent to the delivery people!
Well I wasn't happy but they said they would deliver it on the Saturday to which I said this was impossible as I was away on holiday. They eventually said that it would be delivered the next day. However at 5.30pm I got a phone call to say there wasn't enough room on the van for it!!
Needless to say I cancelled the order and ordered my machine from 123 Electrical where I had my washing machine 36 hours later.
It then took them over a week to refund my money...
I thought Hughes were a reliable company but I certainly won't use them again. Just pay the extra £5-£10 and get your goods elsewhere!

I ordered my washing machine on a Tuesday evening, was given a choice of delivery dates prior to placing the order which was really helpful. I was then sent an email (as they said they would) the evening before giving me a 2 hour slot.
The delivery was prompt, the drivers took the machine into the house, removed all packaging so I could check for any problems. They then removed the packaging.
So within 36 hours of placing my order the washing machine was here. Being kept up to date and courteous delivery staff...no complaints from me!
