My son bought us a pair of Dahon folders for Christas 2011, almost a year later mine started making an ellusive ticking sound which went away after a while, but occured each time I rode the bike. I contacted J E James with a querie as to the likely cause and implications of this, David Andrus was more than helpfull, suggesting that the rear wheel be replaced, and ordered one from the makers. Due to the lengthy delivery time he decided to have my bike and replace the wheel from a stock item. In the end this proved not possible so they rebuilt the rear hub pro tem while awaiting delivery of the replacement, and returned the bike to me to use in the meantime. Never before have I had such an excellent service. J E James staff seem eager to go the extra mile for their customers and certainly give you the impression that they'll not be happy until you are.
All in all an excellent company to do business with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
