I bought a Vivienne Westwood scarf for a xmas gift it was 20% off only and cost £55.
I received the scarf and wrapped it up as it was sealed and I thought it was brand new considering I had bought it as brand new anyway.
My sister unwrapped her scarf undid all the sealed packaging lifted up the scarf and there was a tear in it....that wasn't the worst bit...it had a sticker attached with a red arrow on it pointing to the tear.
Basically brand alley is ripping off its customers selling them damaged seconds and other peoples damaged returns and not letting on they are doing it.
they lead you to believe that you are buying an A class garment and that you are getting money off because its on sale.
In reality you are just buying other peoples cast off returns.
Brand Alley embarrased me in front of my family due to the sticker and the tear and then 2 days later I had to take the gift back off my sister to send it back and I could get no alternative.
This company is a joke
This retailer is one of the first places I check for the best prices online.
Even if it is a little more expensive(normally pennies)I will still buy from them because of the excellent customer service they provide if anything goes wrong.
I am not giving Amazon 5 stars because it is not only Amazon that sells its own products but other retailers and sometimes it is difficult to deal with them
ladyhuntress found this review useful
placed an order on 19th December received half of the order on 10th March (almost 3 months later)
The item did not fit my particular model of car and now it is 19th March and they are ignoring all contact on me sending the item back for a refund(also for the part that is still not in stock that should have arrived with the rest)
Steer clear of this company, worst customer service ever.
I will now be contacting Trading standards to try and get my money back that way.
ordered an item when it arrived it was faulty was told to post it back to amsterdam over 3 months ago so it can be fixed/replaced.
they informed me they had received the item months ago.
they are now ignoring all emails(I've sent over 20),I ring the ibood UK customer support number and the guy says he doesn't work for Ibood & cannot help me (figure that out)so how am I supposed to contact them???
so basically I've been screwed for £300
Why won't they answer me and let me know what's happened to my item???
Keep away from them they seem to have ripped me off
