I have made 2 orders to Just Poles in the last month. The web site was a bit iffy as the search function did not seem to recognize the specific poles I was looking for and I had to trawl the site to find them - twice. After that the process worked pretty well up to the point where payment was taken. At that point the process and the web site tracking page froze. For both orders I had to ring or e mail to find out what was happening. For the first order, the poles had been despatched but the website tracking page had not been updated. They arrived the day I made my 'where's my stuff ' query. For the second order the same information freeze happened but when I called it seems the poles had been sent to the wrong place and no one had noticed. After my call they were found, despatched and I got them next day. In summary, a good e trader with some irritating gaps in their order handling system.
I ordered a set of winter tyres late on Monday and they were in my garage before breakfast on Thursday. Delivery was free (special offer) and I could track the shipment every step of the way. Mid-delivery I made a late in the day e mail query to Tyremen and was answered by return. Best of all the price was extremely attractive. This is exactly how we all hope to buy on the internet but it rarely happens. Top marks to Tyremen.
I ordered just before a weekend in the middle of a period of major transport disruption. The system worked exactly as advertised and my delivery was made on the 4th working day. With free delivery at £100 cheaper than the opposition this is a very good service. This was my second significant order with Simply Electronics and both have worked exactly as it says on the tin. No complaints.
