I have been a loyal customer of Vodafone for years, but I find mobile phone companies in the UK to be all very similar, overcharging customers and trying to pull the wool over their eyes with hidden charges etc. I have good signal coverage with Vodafone particularly when travelling, and they offer a few good deals and variety in phones. However, more loyalty should be returned to long-term customers...
Paypal has certainly made life easier when paying for products and services online. It has offered users better security when making purchases. However, some aspects are frustrating, in that certain countries cannot withdraw funds from their account...Better international facilities should be made available so that it is a site that can be used effectively by users worldwide.
I personally find this website frustrating to use. It's not very user friendly and information isnt always clearly accessible. Cleaner lines, less fussiness on the site and better functionality are needed. The email system uses Gmail, and it becomes confusing switching between the sites, often freezing browsers etc...the media service could also be improved with better package options. Customer services aren't always that helpful and tech help could be improved. Overall very ordinary for an extraordinary company like Virgin.
When the service is good, it's great, when it's bad, it's shocking! Information regarding parcel tracking is inaccurate on their website more often than not. In the past I had drivers who were regular to my area, who were friendly, hard working in getting parcels delivered despite poor weather etc. and would collect parcels on time too. Recently the service has taken a nose dive and really can't be described as a service because it's very poor...my regular drivers quit some time ago, perhaps an indication that there are problems behind the scenes with this company.
Facebook is mostly a great social media tool for friends and family around the world to stay in touch, share thoughts, photos and interact. However administrators do tend to muck about with the look and feel of the site too often forgetting that if it "isn't broken, don't fix it". I'd be conscious of sharing too many personal details, particularly with strangers, and ensure that privacy settings are set properly...Good for business, but advertising rules can be frustrating.
Unfussy clean lines on this search engine make results clear and easily readable. Results appear fast and for the most part the search facility responds well to a variety of keywords. Advertising can be painful with so many rules and regulations, and it can get pricey!
Amazon is a favourite online retailer, because they offer an expansive range of products, have a variety of delivery options and an efficient service. They have an affiliate program, good options for marketplace sellers and buyers. Some marketplace sellers are good, but some fall short with their delivery options and speed of delivery...
Ocado have demonstrated a high level of good customer service. There is a decent product range available, with most well known brands and a few ethical, fair trade names too. Delivery is mostly an efficient, friendly service. Any issues are always dealt with promptly.
