I ordered a bowl from the website. They emailed me to let me know that the order had been received, and again when the item had been dispatched. It arrived a couple of days later, so overall very good.
The only reason I haven't given 5 stars, is because the website can be difficult to navigate. Near the top of the webpage, there are some links to various categories of items. When you hover your mouse over one of them, a drop down menu appears, with further subcategories. However, I found that when I tried to move the mouse over one of the drop down menus, they would often disappear before I could click anything, which was a bit frustrating. A small thing, that could do with being fixed, but not enough to put me off buying from them again.
I was emailed to confirm the order immediately after placing it, and emailed again to notify me of when it had been dispatched. I received the knife within a few days, exactly as advertised. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with, and I'd definitely use them again.
I've ordered upwards of 30 things from Play.com, and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. The delivery is quick, and best of all free. The only time I buy from anywhere else, is if Play.com don't stock it. Can't think of a bad word to say. Excellent all round.
After waiting about 2 weeks for my item, I went back to the website and clicked "When Can I Expect Delivery" in the Customer Services section to see what was going on with the order. I gave them a couple of days, but still hadn't had a reply, so I tried the same thing again. But again, there was no reply. So I sent them an email to try and get some clue of when I'd get the order. Over 3 weeks after sending the email (and 6 weeks since placing the order), I've had no reply, and my order still hasn't arrived.
To anyone thinking of ordering from this website, DON'T. Having read some of the other reviews, I realise that this is not an isolated incident. So 6 weeks later, they have almost £50 of my money, and I doubt I'll ever receive the order.
At best, this company is disorganised, and has no communication skills, or idea of what customer service is. At worst they are thieves. I will NEVER be buying from them again, and urge others not to either. Appalling in every regard. 1 star seems too generous.
I ordered a hookah and a selection of different shisha flavours. The hookah arrived within a couple of days (which was quicker than I expected) and the shisha took about 10 days, but it did say that the shisha could take up to 2 weeks, so I didn't mind waiting. However, one of the flavours wasn't what I ordered. I didn't really mind because it turned out to taste nicer anyway, but they either made a mistake, or sent me a different flavour because they were out of stock of the one I ordered. In which case, they should have informed me, or asked me to choose another.
Although I didn't have any real trouble dealing with ShishaHookah, after reading some of the other negative reviews, and in light of the slight mistake, I will probably be ordering from a different site in future.
