Horrendous in every way

A few months ago i bought my very first house. Stressful enough but our default energy provider was First Utility. It was a start of quite possibly the worst experience that i have had with any organization in my entire life. They have quite literally zero communication with any of the different departments. It takes at least 10-15 mins to get through to speak to anyone. Not only that, every single time i have rang them they are either having system issues or problems and advisors either cold transfer to another advisor. Or just put you back onto the automated system. My first bill was a estimate bill. Fair enough I thought.... I rang them up and after a very long time someone answered the phone. She told me to pay the first bill. And then the difference will be taken off in the following bill. The property was empty and remains empty till this DAY! I paid the stupidly high bill, gave the correct meter readings only for them to not amend anything on their system for the month after and I was still being charged silly amounts. Spoke to the SAME! Advisor who then asked me to pay the surcharges only but before her I got through to someone who cold transferred me to the main menu. Anyway..... I then switched to Npower and found them considerably better in every way shape and form! First Utility is by far the worst providers in the world and i am shocked to see how they even manage to stay open without fines. Avoid at ALL cost! If needs be just make a fire in your house and warm yourself and water with that instead.
