About a fortnight ago I put in a description for a wiper switch/stock for my seat ibiza 02 facelift version so all I get in return is two quotes one being £85.90 which is extortionate!! The second quote was for £?.?? and £25 postal & packaging. So I phoned both companies and asked why price was that high on first one and they said and I quote
"WE ARE HAVING TO CHARGE HIGH DUE TO OUR COMPANY GOING BUST"
So that was a bit worrying so I said no and hung up costing me £16.25 for a 4 minute call >:(
After that I then phoned the 2nd company and asked why they didn't quote a final price and they said they needed the part number so I had to go to my garage where my car was and get it. Got the part number and phoned back they had to check part if right one.... 2 days later I phoned them to find out what was happening and they said that they could do a price of £30.75 so handed my card details over and paid for the part.
8 days later I didn't receive my part so phoned them again to find out what's happening with the part I ordered and they replied with and I quote
"WE ARE GLAD YOU PHONED BACK AS WE DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE THE RIGHT PART FOR YOUR CAR SO WHAT WE ARE DOING IS WAITING FOR ANOTHER CAR OF YOUR TYPE TO BE ABLE TO GET THE PART YOUR WANTING, IF WE DO GET THE PART WE'LL SEND IT OUT TO YOU SIR. HOWEVER SIR WE CAN'T GIVE YOU A REFUND AS WE DON'T DO REFUNDS AFTER 3 WORKING DAYS".....
So after being tossed around alot, I've still no part yet, no phone call to say i'll be getting one, and I've basically paid £63.47 for nothing and a garage bill that's still climbing...... I am never using 24/7 spares ever again and you should use use it either cause you'll probably be ripped off too.
