Better than tesco
I have been turned asda, i used to go to tesco everyday but it is so expensive now and the checkout staff seem to be loosing the will to live.
For all the basics and games/dvd/toys you cant beat it, i bought mario kart for my niece last christmas brand new for £24.99. That is cheaper than anywhere else in the UK by a good £10, such good value.
Prestige Flowers
cheap, free gifts and great flowers.
I usually use inter-flora for the annual mad dash to get valentines flowers but saw these guys on google and gave them a shot, last year my order with interflora was nice but delivered at around 9pm, i know its the busiest day of the year but it kind of warned me off them for the meanwhile.
Basically i bought with prestige flowers because they gave free chocolates with every order, (which my gf loved) which seemed the best deal around, my girlfriend loved the flowers, they were delivered at 11am at her work and immediately posted on facebook. 27 likes later and i was in her good books!
Highly recommend, cheap, good quality and fast delivery.

Great products and prices. Pushy salesmen.
Just before christmas i bought my first ever 3d tv from pc world, i hate to be nit picky but it was one of the most awkward experiences of my life. The salesmen first said i couldnt get a vat receipt unless i opened a business account with them until i pointed out there was a big vat receipt button on the computer which he finally pressed after much haggling i kid you not. The upgrades and add ons they throw at you are so annoying, i just wanted a tv not a shelf and a new living room! I understand they make commision but it is awful to have to sit through, its like meeting your girlfriends dad for the first time, i just wanted it to be over as it was agony!

A courier that actually phones you if there is a problem
I bought a gift for my girlfriend for delivery at my work address, like the silly burke i am, i forgot i had a meeting 3 hours away on the delivery date and was pleasently surprised when the delivery driver rang to ask where he should leave the parcel as i wasnt at the delivery address. This might not seem like much but after using yodel in the past and having a nightmare i just though i should share this as some couriers are actually good!
