Where do i start!
The whole thing from start to finish has been a disaster...
I found the chrome tubes & end sockets in homebase but went on line to see if i can get them cheaper - alltools.co.uk came up - they said delivery within 2 - 3 days so i thought great, i can have them for Friday when i was due to finish the wardrobes.
They tried to be delivered on the tueaday but i was at work & as i had received no expected delivery email i had no idea when to expect them.
I re-arranged delivery for the friday to my mothers address - she sat in all day & they didnt turn up. I rang alltools and they said that i couldnt speak to anyone until monday.
I rang monday & they said that TNT had lost my package & they would get another one sent to me for the next friday (11 days after my order date). I wasnt happy about this but what option did i have.
I thought as a goodwill gesture they would refund my delivery costs but i was instead told that i had 2 options - cancel the order completely so i dont have to pay postage or deal with it!!
Friday came yet again & my mother sat in again all day - this time she received the order but only the poles & not the end sockets. When i rang on the saturday to explain it all, the phone was answered by James who was laughing at me as i told him what had happened & he then told me 'well thats what you get for ordereing online'
Warning to everyone: Go to a DIY store as although alltools is cheaper it hasnt been worth the hassle and endless telephone calls to be greeted with bad customer service each and every time.
I am disgusted with alltools, and as a builder who orders online all the time, i certainly wont use them again!
