I ordered a switch actuator for a Kenwood kettle on 14th Feb 2013 and it promptly arrived a mere 6 months later on the 19th of August 2013! (yes 6 months, I know amazingly fast right!)
Once I had recovered from the excitement of my delivery I eagerly opened the package looking forward to admiring my shiny new switch... unfortunately my new found happiness was short lived.
The switch was the wrong colour...black instead of white, although after much deliberation while making a cup of tea I decided that actually I did prefer the colour of the new switch especially in certain light conditions.
After all of these ups and downs with this package the absolute worse thing was that the switch was broken on delivery so totally un-switchable!
I will look forward to being able to update this review in another 6 months when the replacement hopefully arrives.
In summary....worse £2.50 plus p&p ever!
I ordered a 17.3" Optimus IV which is PC Specialists version of the Clevo W370ET.
The laptop was assembled and delivered all within 10 days so quite a quick delivery which was nice and well packaged, time to turn on the laptop..
Unfortunately that's when the first problem started, I ordered the laptop with windows 8, this meant that the mouse buttons below the trackpad didn't initially work when I put the laptop on and I had to download the latest windows 8 drivers from the Clevo website which is a 180MB file before I could use the mouse.
The screen also came with a dead pixel near the bottom and a few what look like marks or dust behind the screen. Luckily I took out the dead pixel guarantee (recommend) but this also means having to send the laptop back for a screen replacement.
The telephone support guys answer the phone very quickly and they seem knowledgeable and are able to help with any problems you have.
The laptop itself seems very well built and is easy to use, so no complaints there. I would like to offer more stars but because of the problems so far I can only award 3 stars at the moment
Since writing this review I have also had to send the laptop back due to a dead pixel on the screen.
A week later the sound stopped working on the laptop also.
I now want a refund on the laptop but PC Specialist don't seem willing to refund me for this clearly not fir for purpose laptop.
I also doubt a lot of the reviews on this page are genuine as they say the review is from London but the country is the US? This seems a bit suspect to me,.
I ordered a custom sized mirror from this company's website. The mirror is exactly as ordered. Although the stated delivery was 7-9 working days, due to materials not being in stock my order took 18 days to arrive.
Due to the times delays with my order mirrorsandglass delivered the mirror to me free of charge as a goodwill gesture.
