A bouquet of white roses was delivered for my wife's birthday in a wet box and a single line message of a few words in a small type [all lower case] on a small piece of paper. Due to the water bag not being restrained in any way, the water had all spilled in in carriage. Some of the roses had rotted within three days of their receipt.
Extremely poor effort and definitely NOT recommended.
This is the first time I have bought anything from Hughes Direct and as a starter, it is a quite big buy - a Bosch dishwasher. After trawling through various reviews I plumped on a model despite not finding the exact one reviewed. The next stage was to source it and H D were in the cheapest bracket but on Pricerunner, they had far more reviews than the others and all of those I read were positive. When I went to order it a day later to my pleasure the price had gone down below the others so I promptly did the deed, a process I found very easy to complete and received confirmation by return of e-mail.. The next day an invoice arrived by e-mail and the day after, by a text advising me delivery would be made the following morning giving the scheduled time slot. A phone call by the delivery team was received early in the morning to check everything was alright. The correct dishwasher was delivered safe and sound.
The attention to ensure the customer is kept informed at every stage of the order is first class and I certainly have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Although this is my first encounter with Groves, it is very unlikely to be my last. I ordered bare rooted raspberry plants last Friday night and they were delivered [and planted] the following Tuesday. Excellent quality plants very well packed with a deep plant pot to protect the roots and all important sucker shoots. Now having to wait for the taste test.
Our P-58Cs shredder suddenly gave up the ghost 3 months past the 2 year warranty having only been used occasionally to shred sensitive household papers. I e-mailed Fellowes asking if they could offer any guidance to get it working again and had a reply about 20 minutes later asking for my phone number so they could talk me through a recovery process. About an hour after I replied, I was talking to Julie who, satisfied the machine had expired, said she would e-mail a form for me to fill in. This I did and received another mail to inform me a replacement machine would be despatched the next day. It was delivered the day after that.
The replacement machine is factory reconditioned and as a result only has a 90 day guarantee period but considering I have a working shredder again for nothing, I am extremely satisfied. that's the way to look after your customers.
I recently used Go-Electrical for the first time and placed an order for a Bosch kettle based on the reviews on TrustPilot and their very competitive price. The order was placed on Easter Monday, despatched the following day with delivery notified by e-mail to be Wednesday, on a 'next day' service by DPD. I checked DPD's web site as recommended for the allocated delivery time slot but the web page was not updated until after delivery had been made, on Thursday. I had phoned them and couldn't get through to a human being so rang Go-Electrical to see if they could help. I had a call back within half an hour to say they also had trouble getting to talk to someone but the parcel would be delivered by five pm that day. It wasn't and both Go-Electrical and me were let down by the couriers. They even sent me an updated e-mail timed 19.40 to advise delivery would be made between 15.09 and 16.09 which was a bit late to say the least.
So taking out DPD's efforts, who did a similar thing last Christmas, Go-Electrical provided an excellent service and I would not hesitate to use them again.
As always with a new site [to me], I was a bit apprehensive when placing my order. I needn't have worried as the goods were despatched when I was told they would be and delivered in an acceptably quick time. The payment did not leave my credit card account until after despatch. It may not ultimately be the quickest site but it certainly meets the high standard I have become to expect when shopping on line.
I found the Tyre Shopper site on Google and had a look as I wanted a replacement tyre urgently for one I had wrecked over the weekend. I was presented with the lowest price I had then found for the new tyre which could be fitted by a local dealer the next day. I am now waiting for the next day to arrive and can't comment further except to say so far very good and will recommend the site to anyone I know who needs new tyres.
