I know that Virgin Media sometimes gets a bad wrap in the media, but I have always found them great. We have a bundled set of services: TV/Telephone/Broadband/Mobile.
There TV service is great - In the last year I think that there has only been one occasion, where there was an issue with the service, which lasted about 4 hours.
Telephone - We have never had any problems with the service.
Broadband - In the last year, there have been about 2 or 3 minor issues with connecting, and not one lasted more than a couple of hours.
Mobile - My partner has a virgin mobile, and because we are existing customers, the bundle was a 'cracking' deal. The service is excellent, and since linking up with the Orange network, my partner has excellent coverage/connectivity.
Customer Services - I know this was one area, where Virgin in the past had a very poor service. However in the past couple of years, they have improved dramatically! When we have to contact them, I can only describe our experience as 'Excellent' - Advisors are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, the waiting time has been only 2 or 3 minutes to be put through. Overall, as a 'complete' service we cannot fault them.
We have been with Virgin (prior to that NTL) over 15 years, and certainly are satisfied with the service and price!
I've been using expedia for years - We've booked all types of holidays, long haul & short haul flights, city breaks, have also booked additional services through expedia - City tours, public transport tickets, museum entrys etc. I have never had any problems with booking process, and the first place I look when planning a short or long break is Expedia, and in 90% of the time, they always offer the best deals - Totally happy!
