I'm an expert in comparing websites in travel and low cost has cheap deals but not the best ones. Normally most websites run seasonal promotions and have many exclusives

Imdb

Good for cinema lovers but misses info

whenever I am not sure which movie to watch I go to IMDB, best reviews, plot summary, actors info, etc...
is the only website I use for that.
the only thing that lacks is to have more information for non English language movies...(I am spanish and cannot find many information about Spanish movies or actors sometimes)

Tripadvisor

One of my favourite pages

I work in the Travel industry and I love to check reviews before travelling. Tripadvisor is the best website for it, not only for accommodation but also for attractions. I am also a reviewer and I really appreciated they keep me posted on how many people read my reviews.

I trust TripAdvisor way more than individual on line travel companies, is more objective.

Skype

Great idea for those who live abroad

Not sure Iif my mums loves skype even more than me, hehe, since I have an account I call home more often and in the last year I even can see my family with the webcam...It definitely improved communications internationally. and is so cheap! or even free!
However it sometimes have signal problems or echo

Amazon

Lots of products

I love Amazon an the wide range of products they have. I tend normally to check the products in the stores and then by them in Amazon cheaper..
I have issues with wrong size or item not working and they refund me without any problem.
It is also true that they deliver products even before the estimated delivery date

HostelBookers

Great service and cheapest deals

I have used Hostlbookers a lot in the last weeks while I was travelling around Southamerica and I didn't have any complaint so far.
I like how you display the hostels in the main page by showing the rates and the reviews rate average, so for me is easier to choose one.

I would like to emphasize that you normally have more bedrooms choice, cheaper rates and no commission fee! Which is why I always book hostels through you.
