We had a lovely holiday at The Delta Hotel in Maoris, Majorca but only because we were both adults and were therefore allowed to use The Beach Club which used to be linked with the hotel but which you now have to pay for (8 Euros if staying at Delta or 16 Euros if not). We had not been told in advance that (a) we would have to pay and (b) it was adult only, as I expect was the experience of many other families. We chose the holiday from the pictures of The Beach Club which was fabulous but expensive. As a result, the pools at the hotel were too full for their size, there were not enough sunbeds and you could tell that the families with children were disappointed. The hotel felt very much 3 star not 4 or even 5 which is what other holiday makers had been told. I really feel that we were mis-sold. Broadway Travel should have been aware of the new charges and rules and should not sell The Delta with pictures of The Beach Club which is now a separate entity.
When I placed an order with VistaPrint I found that I had signed up to a monthly payment for "membership" which was not explained to me at the point of order. It took a great deal of work to extricate myself from this "contract" and I would urge everyone to read the small print or ask the appropriate questions
