I've experienced a deliveries via DPD twice now, and based on my experience, I'd happily recommend them.
I recently had 2 deliveries from them. The one day I was out and received a "sorry you were out" card. I went online with my reference number to re-arrange delivery, and that was easily done.
I then decided that I needed the delivery to come at a certain time the next day so rang them to request this. Though I had to pay £6 for the timed delivery, I can't fault the phone customer service or the delivery the next day, which arrived on time.
I then had another delivery a few days ago where I was home and received my parcel.
So far, so good!
I have used Goofbay for several years now. Always with consistent great success.
I simply don't have the time nor patience to battle in a last minute bidding war - or risk greedily completely over bidding for an item just because I have to have it.
So it's much much easier to simply add my desired item into Goofbay at the price I'm willing to pay.
Goofbay will then do all the hard work for you! Just sit back and relax. You will then either win the item if you're the last highest bidder (I always snipe at 5 seconds before action end).
If I'm out-bid (because my limit was less than the winner) well, then so be it.
It's a great system for free. No spam. No nothing. It just works. Yay!
I've used the hungryhouse app on my iphone many times now.
I've never had any issues or reason to call their customer service, so can't comment on that aspect of the company.
However I can say that I've used hungryhouse.co.uk for around 3 years now with a 100% success rate.
I've been able to use it in many new locations to find a home delivery service in areas I'm not familiar with.
I find their rating system useful and though I always take reviews with a pinch of salt, I do rely on them to make a decision to order from a particular provider or not.
Once you've successfully placed and received an order, the system allows you the opportunity to review the service provider.
Therefore reviews on the hungryhouse website can only be genuine and not fabricated (no order = no review).
The app itself has never failed me on my iPhone - no glitches to report. It seems though that the actual user account can only be fully accessed through their online web page.
All in all I'm very happy that hungryhouse exists - what a wonderful idea & service!
I've been using Groupon for well over a year now and have only ever had a good experience with them.
I've bought several Groupon vouchers for many services.
Now, some of the services aren't as I hoped they would be, however that wasn't Groupon's fault! But rather the service provider.
I have a feeling that people writing negative reviews have issues with the service providers, rather than Groupon.
I know that many people complain they can't book a particular service as the company only accepts x-amount of Groupon coupon users per day/week/month.
But in my opinion that is the service provider's fault and mismanagement, rather than Groupon.
Anyway, back to Groupon.
A few months ago I was hospitalised and many of my Groupon vouchers expired before I could use them.
When I contacted customer services to explain, I was immediately offered a full refund on any that had not yet expired - or credit to my account for those that had.
My overall experience with using Groupon vouchers have been flawless. And on that basis, I'll happily recommend them.
My advice is, research the service provider you're buying a voucher for. If there is no existing feedback on the company, approach with caution and know that you're taking a chance on your purchase.
I recently purchased a heavily discount coupon through Groupon, for printing photos on acrylic with Posterxxl.co.uk
Though I initially bought the voucher for 1 huge print, I decided to break it down into several smaller acrylic and poster prints to the value of the coupon discount.
I wasn't sure whether this would work, but evidently went through as I hoped it would.
The website was easy to navigate and upload photos.
My order was for 1 matt poster & 4 acrylic prints.
The poster arrived first and was incredibly well packaged in a solid cardboard box.
Delivery was with the courier company DPD and was a next day service.
Email communication with tracking information kept me informed of shipment & delivery.
The poster quality is excellent. It feels very robust and looks like it will last long & well.
The acrylic prints arrived a couple of days later. Extremely well packaged in sturdy cardboard boxes and the prints themselves were individually packaged with foam covers around each corner and plastic film all around the print.
The prints themselves are true to colour and absolutely perfectly placed on the acrylic. The acrylic gives a beautiful glossy & classy look - very impressed!
Now of the 2 little niggles:
1) one of the acrylic prints has a slight bow to it and isn't 100% flat. This I'm sure won't be noticeable once up on the wall.
2) I accidentally received someone else's poster along with mine in the first shipment. Though I wrote to printerxxl.co.uk to inform them of this, they addressed my one query in the email however didn't comment on the fact that I was in receipt of someone else's poster print.
I can only assume they thought it's easier to reprint that person's poster and re-send it.
All in all I'm really happy with the quality and service and will use them again.
I recently purchased a voucher via the Groupon website for a heavily discounted canvas print.
I never have very high expectations when something is so heavily discounted but I guess that can only mean I end up pleasantly surprised when it turns out better than expected.
Which was exactly the case...
The website was easy to navigate and upload my photo to. It also gave me a good indication if my uploaded photo met the requirements for the size I wanted.
Email order communication was good and the order arrived promptly and well packaged.
The canvas itself is true to the photo and I loved the textured canvas which went very well with the image I used.
I'd definitely use them again and will happily recommend. Even at full price. However now that I've bought from them once, I received another 60% discount code which is valid until the end of the year on any order & product.
And Moo knows that too!
As a photographer, my card leaves a lasting first impression. And with a Moo card, I can rely on the impression to be the one I wish it to be.
The website is very user friendly and easy to use & navigate.
The order arrived promptly.
The packaging is excellent! It's like unwrapping a Christmas present! A sturdy outer box holds the beautiful card box securely inside. Covered with beautiful tissue paper, the business card box itself is just a sight to behold. A white magnetic box wrapped in a purple ribbon with "wax" seal.
Now on to the cards themselves: Suffice to say they exceeded my expectations.
Yes, these cards aren't cheap (I ordered the Luxe cards), but they simply ooze class & quality. A firm card with good texture - and I love the lightly coloured accent line around the edges.
I can't wait to order some new cards (and other products) from Moo again.

I used Vistaprint for some business cards several years ago and had a good experience (satisfied with my cards and quality thereof).
My most recent experience however was a huge disappointment.
I ordered 250 premium "new & premium matt" cards which cost ~£36
I'm not happy with what I received at all.
- The colours were not vivid & appeared washed out
- The colours weren't solid enough (I'm not talking even about my own image / simply their own border - not sure what DPI they use
- The cards were flimsy and looked cheap (not sure how on earth this is the premium, new & improved 350gsm??)
- The cards are an odd shape. Longer and narrower than traditional cards. In other words, not credit card sized.
Overall not happy at all. I requested a refund. The good news is that I received a prompt email confirming that a full refund will soon be processed.
I guess at the end of the day you simply get what you pay for.
I've bought from Cotton & Cologne for several years now. Both in their shops and online.
The shops staff are always genuinely very friendly & helpful and will make an effort to make recommendations or help you find what you're looking for.
The products are well selected and compliment each other well. Quality is second to none - especially the bedding (sheets, duvets, etc). The nightwear range is also exquisite and real value for money.
A glorious selection of candles and fragrances as well as soaps and home fragrance. I can spend a fortune here!
Online shopping is a pleasure as well and you can shop with confidence. Swiftly delivered and beautifully packaged.

So I'm sitting at home waiting for the Sky Engineer to come today to install / activate my broadband. No sign of him so I ring Sky.
"Where's my engineer"...silence..."erm, he's not coming because there's a problem with your order".
Me: "so why didn't someone call to tell me?"...Sky: "oh the system doesn't work like like that. We can only tell you the engineer isn't coming if YOU ring us". Me (jaw drops). WTF? You've gotta be having a laugh?! So the system can tell you that the engineer can't come but you can't let me know? Yep, that's right. Turns out THEY entered my address incorrectly. Now they have to cancel it (it takes 48 hours) before they can resubmit it for a NEW order. That will take another week.... (breathe in...breathe out...repeat)...
The lady who informed me of this system, seemed quite indignant when I commented that it was the most ridiculous non working / waste of time system ever! And when I asked to speak to a manager, she wasn't happy at all.
But after I had to holding for about 20 minutes (me paying for the call!) the manager profusely apologised for the way their system works (or doesn't). However didn't indicated that this is a glitch - its' simply the way it's set up.
I've used Ocado probably about 10 times. 3 times they were way way out of time for their delivery slot. Once delivering at 2am!!
It's really not cool.
When I complained to Ocado, they didn't apologise - merely said they can't always deliver in the allocated time slot. That's pretty much it.
So why bother choosing one?
Other than that, food is well packaged and 99% of the time they had everything I ordered.
The first time I used FlyBe for a return flight between London Gatwick and Nantes. And based on my overall experience, I'd say they're pretty great!

Both flights departed on time and arrived early
Comfy seats and good legroom
Good selection of (not expensive / rip-off) onboard snacks, drinks and gifts
Not the cheapest but very reasonable and provided value for money to me

Arranged a collection almost a week ago for today. All my paperwork states today's date as the collection date.
When do they turn up? Whilst I'm away on holiday.
When I emailed them about this (no phone number available with a live person to speak with) - explaining that today is my only day being home - what do they do?
Complete ignore what I said - didn't even apologise - and arranged recollection for next Monday (when I'm working).
I emailed back saying that doesn't suit me and today is my only available day so they should come.
The response was that it's now been cancelled and that THEIR systems show a different collection date. Implying it's my fault and my problem.
Funny that the email that they replied to, was the confirmation email from THEM with today's delivery date. What incompetent idiots. AVOID.
