Waste of time and effort

Booked hotels through Expedia and Hotels.com. Nothing credited to my account on either. Filled out the form on the first occasion to claim the 10/15% discount, it said it may take months to trace. 6 months later, not even an email to say Y/N. Second time didn't even bother to fill it out.
Go to Trivago/Travel Supermarket or another comparison site and pick the cheapest.
Seemed too good to be true when I joined and that's how it turned out.

Why didn't I think of it

Buy tyres in and get the existing competition to fit them without all the cost of running a workshop....absolute genious. How does the competition let them get away with it - but thank god they do!
Seriously, I have nothing but good things to say about my several purchases from blackcircles and the fitting agents. They are transparent with the prices and they have always been delivered and fitted for the appointment I made. I remember being quoted £150/tyre from one of the well known fitters direct that I actually bought for £85/tyre fitted from blackcircles. When you need all 4 replacing that is a really important saving. And the service I've received from the fitter is exactly the same as I've come to accept over the many years but for a lot less money overall.
An added benefit I've found is that you just get your tyres fitted without a diagnosis that you also need a 'free' alignment check, new exhaust, a set of shocks and whatever else the fitters use to convice you into just because your tyres are worn.
Thanks blackcircles for making a necessary buy much cheaper for exactly the same thing as I use to get ripped-off for.


Online stock check and reservation is a lifesaver

How big must that warehouse behind the shopfront be? If you leave things to the last minute, can't wait in for delivery or be bothered to wait in the queue at the post office parcel depot after you've been left a card then this is the shop for you.The range of stock is amazing, prices are more than competetive (sometime cheaper than online) and somehow they always seem to have either 1 or 2 of what you're looking for in stock at a local store. Their reservation feature online helps you get a good nights sleep if you have left things very late as I do.


The original and the best

I've bought many products from Amazon over the years from electricals, music to books and the rest. They might not always have the very best price (although are usually very close if not) but their customer service has never let me down.


Couldn't believe it's an Amazon company

For those of you old enough to remember Britannia Music and the 3 CD's for 99p this'll be familiar. It'd be easier to leave the cosa nostra than cancel after the trial period has expired.


Quality products not brands

Once you get over the lack of familiar brand names you'll be amazed at the value and quality. The prices are low but the quality is high, especially the continental stock. Forget whether you need 2 for 1 comparisons or whether 1/2 price is really the real price, Aldi just do low prices for great quality across the range. Plus there's the benefit of 'either they have it or they don't' ethos rather than choose between 10 varieties of the same thing at the big 4. I guess their buying power benefits their customers as well.


Best price despite the sniping

Despite all the pubilicty about their hidden charges they're always still the cheapest and most convenient from regional airports. Read and then stick to their rules, add on their well known card fees and if your taking a baggage train with you go elsewhere. I like their prices and am happy to trade that for the fact that I don't pay extra for someone else's excess baggage or marginally improved 'customer experience'.


Hard Sell

I was fine with what they supplied but they never leave you alone thereafter. How many business cards do they think you need!
