i am not an exactly tech savvy person, but there is a time that i need to buy a new phone/laptop. then i need to know whether the items are good or not and cnet is the place where i will look for the review. i know there are tons of reviews website out there, but i find that cnet's reviews are relatively accurate and thorough. it is also a great website when i am looking for softwares, you can see the reviews for the software and for me, i dont feel as unsecure as googling the software on google and go to the developer's website directly. you wont absolutely know whether that website is legit or the download file is a virus. definitely cnet is a great website
i would say the price of the items are relatively cheap, however that is also reflected in the quality of the items. i bought a few clothes from them as i got a $5 vouchers and while the delivery is pretty fast (2 weeks to australia), i was surprised when i saw the item. the material is not good, there is this one coat that exactly looks made out of plastics, then the t shirt is not sewn properly. rather that wasting money on a sub-standard clothing, it is better not to buy in the first place. definitely not going to get any clothes from here anymore.
the first time i get to know paypal is when i wanted to purchase things on ebay. i feel unsecure of buying things online as i am afraid that my credit card number will be stolen and stuffs. so far, i have never encountered any problems with paypal and i feel more secure if i pay through paypal than directly typing my credit card detail on the seller's website
I recently purchase 21 items and made my payment through paypal. All the items are of 1-2 days availability. All went well but few days after, I was notified that 16 of my items are no more in stock thus have to be cancelled and i am left with only 5 items. I thought 1-2 days availability means that they have the items ready to ship? That being said, i felt really disappointed and decided to just cancel the order. The next day my order was cancelled and my money was refunded days after.
