My experience of Plumbworld and their customer service was excruciating and I will cut a very long story short for this review. Similarly to other people’s experiences on here, the delivery didn’t arrive from Yodel and my e-mails were routinely ignored. Plumbworld Customer Services didn’t respond to many of my e-mails and you can’t phone them so you are at their mercy. Escalating it as suggested on their website at the time to their Chief Executive resulted in a response from the Customer Services Team Leader. From there on the whole process was a comedy of errors with mistake after mistake, unanswered e-mails and broken promises. When they eventually processed the re-order for the ‘lost’ items from Yodel, they made a mistake and re-ordered the wrong item. Of course once can appreciate that this can happen but trying to get them to understand what had happened whilst batting e-mails backwards and forwards was impossible. When they eventually rang me I was at times treated with contempt until it finally it clicked that they had made a mistake after all. When the items did eventually arrive, the instructions for the shower were incorrect (it took another bout of e-mails to Customer Services to ascertain that) and they eventually pointed us in the direction of the manufacturer to help explain to the bathroom fitters why the shower unit wouldn’t work properly. The manufacturers told the fitters that the unit was an obsolete model (had been for 2 years) and had been discontinued due to design flaws.
