Good website - advisers could be better informed
I could find the exact tyres I wanted on the website - I made a call and was advised they were in stock, so placed the order and arranged a local fitting.
I received a follow up call to state there wasn't a problem with the fitting appointment but the tyres were no longer in stock. I was then offered alternatives - initially these were of a lower tyre speed rating, which I do not believe is good practice. I was eventually offered a tyre that would suit my vehicle. We got there in the end.

Although we would not normally suggest dropping to a lower speed rating; as the lower W rated tyre’s maximum speed (167 mph) was still in excess of the vehicle’s capabilities by some margin, this was suggested as a possible alternative to the previously fitted units.
