Bought Netgear N300 router on Tuesday. Despite exccellent support from Netgear and Plusnet, the device failed to hold the ASDL signal. Took the goods back to Maplin. Customer Service Manager told me that he could only exchange the goods and would not refund . He adopted a confrontational attitude, stating that all goods are tested etc... After quoting Consumer Protection Law i.e.that the goods were not fit for purpose, he changed his mind and gave me a refund. He then said that he wouldn't do it again! I won't be using Maplin again!
A week last Sunday we ordered an Ipad using the click to collect service. We received an email saying that the goods would be available on the Bank Holiday Monday. This was followed by a calll on the Monday saying that we could collect the Ipad from the store on the Tuesday. My partner duly arrived at Waitrose on the Tuesday with the relevant paperwork and card. She was told that there was no record of the order. Following numerous phone calls/emails (and being fobbed off), total confusion reigned. Eventually, a brave John Lewis Customer Service Agent acknowledged the poor service last Friday and offered a £30 refund. The matter is now resolved - but I will never believe what people tell me about John Lewis again!
Great experience compared to last year. The level of customer service and communication has improved beyond belief. In particular, the organisation at Palma airport was excellent. As a result, the queues moved rapidy and the waiting time was reduced considerably. Air-crew were very polite and the captains on both flights were very communicative, informing passengers throughout the flight about any developments, place/sights of interest. This made the experience far more enjoyable! Well done Easyjet!
Visited Liverpool St store. Wanted a choice of both button down and formal collar. Not impressed. with the service. There was a couldn't care less attitude from the two female sales staff. Was iI being served by work-experience employees? Then went to Jermyn Street Flagship store, were I had to iterrupt 3 staff who were busy gossiping! Gets three stars for good product. Not what I expected!!!
