Was hopeful that this was a company that understood what a customer wanted from a delivery. "Notify you after 7a.m. of your delivery slot". Great I thought!
So at 5:20 a.m. I was surprised to be woken by an automated message on the home phone letting me know that the delivery was scheduled between 11a.m. and 3 p.m. Them by text and two calls to my mobile!
Not a great time slot but I had taken the day off work and thought with any luck it would be here by 3p.m. and I could leave the house.
3 p.m. arrived, 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m.... Delivered at 7 p.m.
As per the summary...this is how internet shopping should be.

I'm really sorry to hear you're unhappy with our service.
Our text and voice notifications are normally sent at 7am to make sure we give our customers as much notice of their delivery slot as possible. However, there was a system error on Friday, which meant that the timeslot messages were sent about 2 hours earlier than they should have been.
This has been investigated with our courier company, Expert Logistics, and their service provider, who send the messages on their behalf. It was identified that the cause of this error was an unplanned restart of their systems. This caused an issue with the time being set 2 hours ahead, meaning the server thought it was 7am, when it was in fact 5am.
I'm so sorry that we woke you. A 5am wake up call is never good! Please be assured that Expert Logistics are in discussions with their service provider to ensure that preventative measures are put into place, so that this does not happen again.
I can also understand your further annoyance when your delivery arrived later than you were expecting. I'd like look into this for you to see what went wrong, as we clearly let you down. Please can I have your order number?
