Ordered 4 Fry Pans from www.homeandcook.co.uk and not only received just 2 but totally the wrong ones.
Phoned them about it and they told me to recount the pans and it says they shipped 4. I informed them that I have the shipping note saying they shipped 4 however I received just 2 - and the wrong ones.
I was then told to open the boxes again as there will be 4 in their and they have to be the right ones.
Again I opened them and again there were still just 2 and totally different (1 a saucepan and 1 a deep fry pan) from the 4 regular fry pans I ordered.
She finally agreed to let me send them back and would get her supervisor to contact me about this. I never heard from this supervisor.
I keep trying to contact them as I am still yet to receive a refund and they simply do not answering my emails.
Firstly with connection which I paid for they decided that the best place to put the phone/internet connection is a utility cupboard which has no power point which means if I want to make a call or use the internet I have to either sit in a dingy small room or have long power cords across the main floors for my child to trip over and play with.
When I contacted them about this they simply informed me that the engineer decided that this is the best place for the connections so that is where it is.
I only got the phone line for my broadband. When receiving the bill I noticed a MINIMUM CALL COMMITMENT CHARGE. I was shocked to read this. Again on the phone (getting through to someone at BT is an adventure) who inform that if I had read ALL the T&C's that there is a clause in them that if you do not make a certain chargeable phone calls you will be charged an additional fee.
This is even though you get a package that includes calls!
BT will never improve so after this 12 months I will not make the mistake again of using them and I hope they in their attempt to take on the TV companies.
Ordered a little swim suit for my wee boy and the package arrived within 2 days. I received confirmation and postage details so kept up to date at all times which is always reassuring when ordering off a website you haven't used before.
When the package arrived although it the package had the right name & address but they had put in another persons order by mistake.
I phoned them about this straight away and they sincerely apologized about this and informed that they would send out the correct package and asked if they included a return postage paid envelope if I could send back the incorrect item - which I did.
My correct item (which was great) arrived in 2 days so no harm done at all.
Very impressed with the customer service and most places today care very little about their customers.
