Spent £1200 on a fridge freezer which was delivered with two damaged doors and sharp, split plastic fascia. Pixmania's response was "because I hadn't inspected it within 48 hrs of delivery" they weren't prepared to do anything about it. When I told them it was impractical for me to do so because I was away in Afghanistan they still wouldn't budge. At the moment I have been waiting for more than a week for their management to contact me which was promised within 24hrs. I have a feeling I will never hear from Pixmainia again!
ordered some handles and hinges and things from handles4doors. Most of the accessories arrived intact except for one handle which, had fallen to bits during transit. I felt that handles4doors didn't really deal with the problem and I ended up repairing the product myself.

I am sorry that you have returned home to find the fridge freezer damaged. We try to ensure that all products are delivered in perfect condition.
Although we have a very strict 48 hour time frame to report damaged item (not faulty) we do look at every case individually. Your request for compensation has been denied due to the fact that it well exceeds the 48hour timeframe as it was reported 5 months after delivery.
