Very

Losing Customers Daily Through Poor Courier Service

I have been a Very / Littlewoods customer for over 20 years and have been extremely loyal. However, after repeated failed deliveries by their sister company Yodel I decided to stop ordering and will not do so again until they change their delivery company or provide the consumer with a choice of courier. Customer Services have called me 3 times to tempt me to order again but my complaint falls on deaf ears. Let's be honest they are not going to change whilst they are both owned by the same parent business. Since their appearance on Panorama, I definitely will not order from them........ Regardless of who they use to deliver...

Yodel

A bit of Background

This company is owned by the Barclay Bros who also own Littlewoods, Very, Isme, The Ritz Hotel, The Telegraph Newspaper Group and who were posted No 30 in the Times Rich list. It's difficult to imagine that with this much money behind them they wish to be associated with such an unprofessional, badly run, mis managed company. They were also reportedly highlighted as not paying any corporation tax in the UK by the BBC Panorama programme. It's about time they used some of their corporation tax savings to close this company down and put the UK consumer out of their misery.

Amazon

Could Be Better - Delivery that is....

Ordered a large rabbit hutch and I was dreading it being delivered by Yodel. To my pleasant surprise DPD delivered it - but only 1 of 2 packages was deliveredon the Friday.

Waited a further 3 days for the 2nd package to arrive.
However, once assembled, the item was excellent and very good value for money.

The only thing that ever let's Amazon down is the poor delivery companies they use and this needs to be taken seriously and addressed as many people stop using on line companies due to their poor delivery experience which is letting the side down.
