Been shopping this morning at Blackwater store. I now appreciate all the comments concerning lack of customer service. I don't know why they were voted best supermarket for 2012? Their is a poster promising to open another checkout if you are waiting past a certain point. Multiple queues past this point today but no additional checkout opened! I was served by the Assistant Manager who did not utter a word of apology for breaking the advertised promise. Stacked pallets in the aisles made it dangerous and impassable at times for customers. This was 9.15 a.m so clearly inadequate night shift to avoid this. Not surprising when recruiting ads in the store offer half the average national wage for doing this work. How can people live on that in this area?
I did everything they required on their eBay listing to ensure the part would fit my car. They virtually guarantee that with the registration number there will be no compatibility issue and offer to phone you if they discover a problem of that nature. I received no such phone call. Part arrived and was not correct for my car although their listing clearly stated it was. They agreed the return of the part . Tried to offer me an alternative part at higher price. Have ignored/skirted my claim for the return postage costs which was due to a fault at their end. Trading Standards were recommended by eBay who advise me that they have broken the contract under The Sale of Goods Act.
